Redundant audit is defined as an audit in which a subscribing prime audits any/all criteria covered in the scope of the suppliers’ Nadcap accreditation that is not specific to product, or processes unique to the auditing Prime’s specifications. Prime Audits supporting initial supplier / process qualification or resolution of performance issues are not to be construed as redundant audits.
